You can't tell by the photo but Alexis is really struggling with the idea of going back to school. Bless her heart, she tried to keep her spirits up, but when I dropped her off she started crying. It is so hard to leave her when I know how sad she is feeling. Once she gets settled into her class maybe she will feel better. I really don't want her to go through this on a daily basis. We have a really good public school and I know this is the right thing for Alexis but it just make so sad. So today I am just waiting for the hours to pass so I can pick her up, I hope she has a great day!
I hope she had a good day! We also have a pretty good public school, and I am very optimistic that daughter will have a good time there. She just needs to get used to 7am wakeup time, this is such a change from her normal relaxed 8:30 am schedule.
ReplyDeleteShe did have a good day and there has been no more crying after the 2nd day. She does complain about boredom but she is adjusting well.
